YWCA board of trustees

The board of trustees sets the aims and strategic objectives of YWCA. The trustees are responsible for the financial and operational stability of YWCA and for new areas of work. They meet about five times a year in London.

They are:
    Christine Freshwater
    Amanda Ariss
    Fareena Shaheed
    Helen Wollaston
    Inderjit Kaur Sahota
    Lynn Pertoldi
    Mary Pasby
    Rachael Clapson
    Rebecca Leete

We are always on the look out for new people to join our board. The chair of the board, said: "This is an exciting time to be part of YWCA, as we enter a new phase in the charitys history. We have refocused our work with young women and now need to communicate that shift effectively to key audiences.

"Being a member of the board is a great opportunity to play a part in YWCAs future. Just as importantly, however, it also gives members the opportunity to develop new skills and professional experience."
